5- The Spirit temple
- I was waiting for you at Kakariko Village! By chance, I didn’t know you were in the land; otherwise, I would have searched for you for a long time ago.
- You made it quick! Do we speak that loud? Deshi worried about her discretion.
- To wake up the dead!
- Well, someone forgot to wake up! Denchu noticed staring at Satoshi who was dribbling in his sleep.
- Tsss, no wonder about what he is thinking! Deshi was distressed about the young men, and poked him with her feet to wake him up.
- About video games! What else, Deshi? Denchu asked.
- Oh yeah, I forgot he was still in this stage.
When Takeshi saw Link on his way back, he hurried toward him:- Your lens of truth!! Do you have it?
- Err, yes, it’s here, Link said, holding it to Takeshi. But it won’t work, since…Takeshi took it without hesitation and pointed it at Denchu…
- Well, that doesn’t work… It has somewhat of a magnifying effect… Wow! It looks bigger than ever!! Takeshi noticed, his eyes on Denchu’s chest.
Takeshi raised his lens and caught sight of Denchu’s eyes:
- JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERK!!! She yelled, kicking him.
Toya ducked at Takeshi’s level and held his nose to stop the bleeding.
- Link wanted to warn you that it only works with magic… And you don’t have this ability. He said calmly.
- You could have told me sooner!
After this little incident, Takeshi got off the ground and stood near his coach and unique support: Deshi. Link and Denchu were thinking about what they would need for the mission. Their ears were flattened by this concentration.
Takeshi and Deshi looked at each other and burst out laughing:- What happened? Link asked.
- No, nothing, Deshi said. It’s just that when you concentrate…
- … Your ears lay down!
- And…Satoshi, Toya, Denchu and Link stared at Deshi and Takeshi, stunned. Takeshi and Deshi pulled themselves together, while they noticed that everybody had little elf ears. Um…
- Anyway, Link started speaking, we’ll have to come back to Gerudo’s valley and find what we need up there. Deshi could steal some things.
- I’ll do that! Deshi said, with an embarrassed smile, trying to redeem herself.
- Toya… sit astride on Deshi’s horse, it’s the only horse that has one cavalier.
- No problem, guy!Toya stood behind the Gerudo without budging, which seemed unusual for the young lady who was used to hearing Toya moan each time he had to divide his time with her.
- You can cling on me if you want! Deshi said in the heat of the moment.
- ‘right…
- Oh, it’s funny! Your eyes are all red… Is it a variant of when you concentrate? The same as your ears?
- ‘right… Err no, not at all, it’s like, well, a pastime, let’s say… very pleasant! Toya answered, his eyes turning brown.
- Uh… Deshi nodded without really understanding.Once they arrived in Gerudo’s valley, Deshi “borrowed” some necessary stuff for the quest: it went from the simple rope and quiver to a little cauldron.
- But… what’s with this cauldron?! Denchu was surprised. It’ll be a burden!
- Maybe you can go through a quest without eating, but my body asks for more than milk and fishes! Deshi answered back.
- Well, shall we go noooow?! Satoshi was getting impatient to see Nabooru.Once again, they took the road to get to the desert that they knew by heart. Our friend landed up with a big statue named the “Desert Colossus”, the main entrance of the Spirit temple.
- Until now, we are good! Link affirmed.
- Yay! And now we can see this damn invisible way with your lens! Deshi exclaimed.
- So let’s go! Link got enthusiastic.
- Well, the road is behind you, Denchu noticed. The first obstacle – if it was one – was to get over a little path to four-foot. And what a path for the troop!
- Satoshi, you go first? Link suggested.
Satoshi was glad to be the advance man so that he could prove his usefulness to Kasumi who doubted about it. Then Link crossed and Toya let Deshi go to enter after her, but it was Denchu who came between:
- If you want to be a gentleman, be it through to the end! She said.
Sighing, Toya went behind Denchu, but Takeshi stopped him from following:
- I know what you have in mind, so don’t count on me to let you pass!
Therefore, Toya was the last to pass.
- But I can’t see anything with your trousers!! Denchu ranted.
- Wait for your turn! You had Link all alone when I was waiting at the valley, so I can advantage of his anatomy a little!
- Deshi… I was talking about the light! Denchu replied.
- Oh well sorry… yeah the light is up there, but I have to admit that the view is outstanding!
- … You really aren’t a Gerudo…Meanwhile, two people further:
- Wonderful underpants, Takeshi!
- HEY!!! Stop checking out!! Takeshi yawped to Toya, kicking him out to the tunnel.Deshi, who arrived at the end of the tunnel, was stuck because of her harem pants that prevented her to follow.
- Link!! Help me! I need you to get me out of this ‘cause I can’t move forward!
Link took both hands the Gerudo lent and pulled as hard he could. The young lady came out without any difficulties; on the other hand her pants didn’t follow its owner. And since a problem never comes alone, Denchu, deprived of light, stopped dead her overhang because of her claustrophobia. Takeshi, busied elsewhere by his underpants, didn’t see the sudden stop of Denchu and collide with her bottom.
- KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!
This little interlude abstaining from any commentaries, we have to point out that Takeshi got a kick in his face, pushing him against Toya who tried to enter the tunnel, but was booted out once again…
And Deshi, in panties, pulled with all her might on her harem pants, but it came out only after being slightly torn.At last, Deshi coped with a hole behind her pants; Denchu had quite a fright; Takeshi with a nose bleeding again and another version of his elf to explore deeply; Toya with heartburn; and Link and Satoshi – who weren’t subjected to this upheaval – didn’t manage to erase the red that came to their cheeks.
Once everybody had gotten out of the tunnel, they all regain their composure. Satoshi was eerily interested in the ceiling, Link was counting his remaining arrows, Denchu nervously wiped her tunic, Deshi pressed her back against the wall, Toya attempted to pick up after the sequence of kicks he had received, and Takeshi…
- And to think that it wasn’t an obstacle, but a tunnel…That sounds promising!
- You were out to get it, Takeshi, so stop grouching! Denchu replied.
- I’m the one who is grouching?!
- … I advise you to move, by the way, she recommended.
- No! I won’t move from this spot!
- Great… Come what may!Denchu made an overture to Link and motioned to him to play his Ocarina. Link, baffled, got his instrument out, but was unaware of what he should do.
- But I…
- Don’t care for this jenny, Link, and play… He wastes our time!
- All right, if you say so…Link played the song Zelda’s Lullaby and, out of nowhere, a chest fell out right to the place where Takeshi was resolutely standing.
- Very well! I hope it’ll sort his ideas out! Denchu was delighted.
- Oh you remind me someone, how mean you are! Deshi was distressed.
- If you’re talking about me… Toya started.
- … Stop thinking everything revolves around you. Toya, you’re not the only thing on my mind! Deshi flung, making a run for the first time.
- That’s right, I forgot the Nutella! Toya flung back.
- And that’s a tie!! Satoshi noticed.
- Hey… Takeshi doesn’t look very well! Link was worried.Everyone crowded around Takeshi who didn’t seem to be moving. Immobile, he didn’t give any signs of life.
- Who is willing enough to volunteer for a mouth-to-mouth resuscitation? Toya asked. A girl by preference, he hastened to say when he saw Satoshi open his mouth.
- Well, it doesn’t bother me… Deshi started.
- You?! We want to save him, not finishing him off! Toya guffawed.
- In this instance, stop making the Q&A! There are only two girls, so pick Denchu! She irked.
- Well, well, well, Denchu you seem to be the most indicated person to make an attempt, moreover, you’re the one to do it, ‘cause if he is that bad, it’s mainly because of you!
- No way! It’s entirely HIS fault if he looks like this! Denchu flung back.
- Denchu, we’re wasting our time… Toya got impatient.
- Greaaaat, get out of the way! And stop watching me!!Denchu raised her head, breathed in, and slowly approached his mouth, but one thing stopped her… Takeshi, a teardrop in the eye, was shaking… with joy!
- JERK! She called him names, and was punching his head.
- AAAOUCHHH!!
- Serves you right! And you, Toya, never ever ask me anything! I know perfectly that you’re his partner in crime! Denchu bellowed before leaving by long strides.
- Sorry ‘mate… Missed again! Toya sympathised. The troop started out again towards the temple boss. Satoshi was excited: he never went that far in his video game. At the same time, he regretted the absence of Kasumi. He thought about his last conversation and blushed a little.
She is bad-tempered… But she looks pretty good with scales…
Denchu’s voice roused him from his thoughts.- Oh men… I remember this moment. Link, I hope you have enough potions and that you got Nayru’s Love jinx!
- Yes, and I also have some bottle of milk.
- Yurk, Deshi was disgusted. What is it behind this door, Denchu?
- Nabooru… She replied.
- Great!! The Gerudo was delighted.
- But she is cursed, remember… Does the Club Moblin remind you anything? She whispered.Deshi’s face expression changed instantaneously. She pushed Link inside the room and the door locked automatically. The room was big and slightly lighted. At the end of the room, gigantic armour laid on the floor. Denchu was proudly walking near Link while Satoshi stood wisely behind Toya – as a precaution – whereas Takeshi ventured beside the cuirass.
- Is that this tin you’re afraid of?
- Takeshi, NO! Denchu yelled.Takeshi barely put a finger on the metallic thing when it had come alive and slogged him. The shock sent him hurling into the wall. Link drew his sword, invoked Nayru’s jinx and pounced on the monster. Helped by Deshi, supple and slayer, the Hero of Time dealt the monster terrible blows. But in an off-guard moment, Deshi landed on the ground: as she wasn’t protected by any jinx, the shock was particularly severe. Toya rushed to the Gerudo and kept her away from the battlefield, while Link redoubled his attacks. But the magic went off and the young Hylian had gotten the same fate as Deshi, albeit he was more resilient thanks to the protection jinx. The cursed armour moved towards Denchu and Satoshi. The young elf fired an arrow which smashed uselessly into the iron carcass which was raising it’s heavy axe. A war howl suddenly broke the mess. Takeshi pounced on the monster, and, with a deep club blow, diverted it from his comrade-in-arms.
- Link! He called, turning over him.
The Hylian boy got back on his feet courageously and rushed towards the armour. This last blow was deadly and Nabooru was freed from the curse. But the trouble wasn’t over… Koume and Kotake, the two witches responsible for the curse appeared.
Annoyed by the defeat of their puppet, they expelled the Soldiers outside, inviting Link to carry on alone to save the sixth sage.- Pfff… As usual, we’re unseated for the final fight! Satoshi complained.
- What could you do? Denchu asked, rising her eyebrows.
- Well, nothing… But I could have watched, the Kokiri grumbled.Denchu ducked at Deshi, still unconscious.
- Is she… ok? She asked to Toya.
- Yes, she is just groggy; I’ll take care of her.
- No doubt you’ll do it fine! Denchu said, maliciously.
- What are you insinuating? Toya asked.
- You know what I mean, Toya… The Hylian girl ended her speech, standing up.Toya lowered his head toward Deshi and smiled. As for Denchu, she joined Takeshi: he had a head injury, a little blood trickle was flowing down his temple.
- You can’t help it, you have to brag… Denchu sighed, holding a handkerchief out of him.
- I’m sorry; I don’t know this game by heart… Takeshi mumbled.
- You saved me twice during this game, Denchu smiled while wiping the wound. I’ll soon have to return the favour.
- Why? Takeshi asked, diving his eyes in hers. Do you think that I can ask you something in return? His sentence turned upside down. Takeshi softly got nearer.
- You could do it! She retorted, ending her speech and broke away from the young boy.

After a long time, a blue halo came, in which an exhausted – but victorious – Link came out. Satoshi welcomed him as a hero and asked him to show the medallion he had won.
- Deshi hasn’t recovered yet? Link worried.
- No, but she is fine, she just needs some sleep, Toya answered, looking towards the Gerudo.Denchu came over the Hero of Time:
- We will part from here, Link. Someone is waiting for you at the Time Temple. As for us, there is a little fish that is waiting for us at Zora’s River. She’s been waiting for us for quite a while now.
- I understand. I hope that I’ll see you again after my victory.
- You’ll always be my favourite Hero, Satoshi squeaked, gripping Link’s leg.
- Thank you, Link smiled, it has been a pleasure to fight by your side!
- Us too, Takeshi said. Take care of your Princess!Link slowly moved away on Epona’s back and wave towards his friends for the last time.
Toya rode Cuddle, snuggling up Deshi against him, while Denchu sat astride Louxor. Takeshi stood still for a moment, looking at Denchu.- Well, climb! Denchu got impatient.
- Are you sure that if we are all reunited we can go back?
- I’m not the one who propounds this theory, it’s Toya.
- Well, ok. Excuse me but I have some difficulties to ride a horse, I‘m quite bruised and he is uncomfortable.
- And for what must I owe you an apology? Denchu suspected.
- Because I’ll rest upon you, and that my arms will be over yours…
- It’s… it’s ok… I understand, Denchu softened. It was a new moment for Denchu: the boy behind her wrapped his arms up to hers and they weren’t weak or troublesome… On the contrary, Denchu felt protected by those soft and puissant arms that she had forgotten the path that she had to follow.
- Denchu?! Are you sure that Lake Hylia is on this way? Denchu? DENCHUU?!
But Denchu couldn’t hear Toya and her horse brought her toward Hyrule Castle. Once the young lady understood her mistake, she tried to brush backward but Louxor didn’t want to listen to Denchu’s order. On the contrary, he bolted. Denchu couldn’t jump because of Takeshi’s wounds so she tried to calm down the horse’s ardour but it was in vain.
Cuddle, usually soft, also bolted all of a sudden, taking by surprise Toya who wasn’t used to riding. Both horses were attracted by something that neither Denchu nor Toya could determine the origin. Both had to accept their horses’ desire, who led them inside the castle, where Ganondorf resided.
